Change her life

Be a Foster Carer

Can you care for a teenager?

Zoe is a 14-year-old girl who needs a safe home for life. Zoe is currently living with short-term carers, however she needs a family who will support her through her teenage years and beyond.

Zoe’s favourite things to do are ride motorbikes, do plenty of outdoor activities, learning to play the guitar, singing and art.

Zoe has a very good understanding of her personal triggers that upset her, and she wants to work on these. She wants to be nurtured and learn how to grow. Zoe needs supervision and monitoring around internet usage, and someone who can teach her how to be safe online.

Zoe needs a positive female role model in her life to her guide and support her.

Zoe attends a local high school in the Shoalhaven region. She has made friends, and is doing really well with her classes. Zoe went up a class in everything this year, and this is something she is really proud of. Attending the same school is very important for Zoe, as she is making great progress and is really enjoying the school environment.

We are looking for a carer/s who live in the Shoalhaven region, who are willing to open their home to Zoe. If you would like to find out more information about Zoe, or about becoming a foster carer we have plenty of ways you can do this!
