Change his life

Be a Foster Carer

We are still urgently looking for a home for Tommy!

Can you help?

Tommy is a 7-year-old Aboriginal boy who needs a safe and supportive environment to help him thrive, and a carer or carers who can provide him with the support he needs. Where possible, we are seeking an Aboriginal placement for Tommy. 💙

Tommy requires consistent routines to support his trauma and autism. Tommy would benefit from carers who have experience in disabilities, in particular those with experience in non-verbal autism. Tommy may require some adjustments within the home to ensure he is supported and feels safe.

He enjoys engaging in sensory play, loves the swings at the park, and anything to do with water activities. Tommy is also a very affectionate little boy. Tommy is currently in Year One and attends school at a local primary school in the Shoalhaven. School has been extremely positive for him and he has become familiar with this setting, the staff, and his peers. Keeping him in this routine would be ideal.

If you think you can be the safe and loving home Tommy needs please fill out the form or contact us on 1300 000 WCF.
