Program and Position Overview
William Campbell Foundation (WCF) is a not for profit Christian organisation that provides a range of services, including permanency support programs for children and young people. Additionally, WCF delivers therapeutic services to children, young people, individuals and families.
WCF is committed to child safe practices and permanency outcomes for children and young people in care to provide a positive, safe and healing experience that addresses trauma, attachment, self-regulation, culture and community needs.

The Support Coordinator role is a participant facing position, assisting children, young people and adults to implement their NDIS plan, help build their support networks, and enhance their opportunities for community and social inclusion through exercising choice and control.
​
The role is designed to empower people living with disabilities to live meaningful and satisfying lives by enabling choice in their service providers and increasing independence through the provision of information and guidance.
​
Focusing on aligning the participants NDIS goals and support plans at all times, complex engagement with all stakeholder groups is required, in addition to supporting individuals to advocate for increased or changed services or funding when identified.

Key Requirements
​

Diploma or Degree in Community Services, Disability Work or relevant and an understanding of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).

A commitment to serving and support people living with a disability.

Ability to demonstrate strategic and critical thinking skills whilst functioning as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Strong communication and organisational skills with a high level of self-motivation.

Sound technology skills and understanding of, or willingness to learn, MYP (participant management system).

Current Working with Children Check, National Police Check and NDIS Worker Check, current unrestricted Drivers Licence and access to two referees from current or previous Managers (within the last 2 - 5 years)
