This is my third time returning to William Campbell Foundation, which says a lot about how much I value the organisation and the people who work here. Even after leaving, I always kept up with what WCF was doing, and when the opportunity arose to return, reconnect with staff, and work alongside families again, it was simply too good to pass up.
What makes WCF special is the genuine sense of community. There is a real family feel across the organisation, where people work hard, support one another, and take the time to connect. I'm grateful for the opportunity to be part of such a dedicated and passionate team.
In my role, I have the privilege of supporting families to create safer and more secure environments for their children. It is a responsibility I don't take lightly. I enjoy working alongside staff to navigate challenges, having honest conversations with families, and helping create opportunities for positive change. Every day, I see resilience in children and young people, and I am continually inspired by the dedication of our staff.
Outside of work, I am most proud of my family and the life my wife and I have built together. I'm also proud to have completed a bachelor's degree, especially as I wasn't always the strongest student. Reflecting on the middle stages of my career, I feel fortunate to have been involved in a range of rewarding roles and achievements, with many more goals still ahead. Returning to WCF and working under such a strong executive team is something I am particularly proud of.

When I'm not working, you'll usually find me on the soccer field with the Milton Ulladulla Football Club. While I might not be getting any faster and the competition certainly seems younger these days, I still enjoy the game and the social connections it brings. Having lived on the South Coast for 14 years, I feel incredibly lucky to call this region home, with its beautiful balance of mountains and beaches.

And one final thing to know about me: I have a soft spot for a good dad joke, even if they're sometimes more groan-worthy than funny.

I joined William Campbell Foundation and quickly felt at home thanks to the warm and welcoming team. I am passionate about supporting families and enjoy using a genuine, relationship-based approach to help keep children safe at home with their families.

One of my proudest achievements is completing a Bachelor of Social Work while balancing work and parenting responsibilities. It was a challenging journey, but one that taught me resilience, determination, and the value of perseverance.

As a mum of four children, I understand that every child is unique and that there is no one-size-fits-all approach when it comes to supporting children and families. I strive to bring empathy, understanding, and authenticity to both my work and personal life.
​
I would describe myself as empathetic, friendly, and bubbly, with an energy that can sometimes make me the loudest person in the room! Outside of work, I am inspired by Frida Kahlo, whose creativity, strength, and individuality I greatly admire.
