Program and Position Overview
William Campbell Foundation (WCF) is a not for profit Christian organisation that provides a range of services, including permanency support programs for children and young people. Additionally, WCF delivers therapeutic services to children, young people, individuals and families.
WCF is committed to child safe practices and permanency outcomes for children and young people in care to provide a positive, safe and healing experience that addresses trauma, attachment, self-regulation, culture and community needs.

WCF’s Chaplaincy, Wellbeing and Support Program is responsible for providing strengths based, trauma informed chaplaincy and wellbeing supports to children and young people and their families in out of home care.
​
The aim of the program is to achieve safety, change and protection for children and young people through improving spiritual, social, cultural, emotional, health and educational outcomes.
​
The role also provides support and supervision to a team of staff in implementing quality wrap around services to WCF’s Permanency Support Team and external Government and Non-Government agencies.
Key Requirements

Minimum of Diploma or Degree in human services or theology, or related field.

Experience with working with children, young people and families, preferably within the community services sector.

Experience with therapeutic interventions and positive support strategies.

Team leadership experience, including analytical, strategic and reflective thinking and the ability to function as part of a multidisciplinary team.

A high level of self-motivation and desire to achieve positive outcomes for children and young people.

Current Working with Children Check, National Police Check and NDIS Worker Check, a current unrestricted drivers licence and access to two referees from current or previous Managers (within the last 2 - 5 years).
