at WCF.

What does your role entail?
My role involves providing holistic support to the young people and carers in our agency. This can look like developing behavioural strategies, providing training, being someone to reach out to for support and my personal favourite providing therapeutic mentoring to the children and young people I work with!
What does it mean to work at WCF?
As a clinician, working at WCF means to me supporting people within our agency in the most holistic way possible. Being holistic I think entails a lot of things; being trauma-informed and strengths based and child centred practice.

What does it mean to support our children and young people?
Supporting children and young people encompasses being a positive role model and driver of an individual’s strengths based change.
Who inspires you?
As a new social worker and avid feminist, I would have to say someone such as Michael White, Brene Brown or Clementine Ford… don’t make me choose one!
What is the best piece of advice you have received?
